House Rules

  1. Please let us know immediately of any issues you have with our cabin. We will address them as soon as possible. We would like to make sure your stays is a great stay.
  2. Please note that smoking is strictly prohibited inside the property. We kindly ask all guests to refrain from smoking to maintain a clean environment for everyone. There will be an extra cleaning fee and asked to leave the premises immediately for violation of the rule. There will be no refund for the remaining nights. If you smoke inside the premises there will be a $300 charge for cleaning up the smell and mess. 
  3. We love our furry friends, up to 2 dogs are allowed on the property. Please make sure to clean up after your dogs. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. Pets will incur an extra cleaning fee of $50 per dog. You must keep dogs on leashes when outside the home. Do not let dogs on furniture. Do not leave your dog unattended. You are responsible for your dogs.
  4. To ensure a peaceful stay for all guests, parties and events are not permitted on the premises. We appreciate your respect for our neighbors and fellow guests. Parties will incur an extra cleaning fee and asked to leave the premises immediately for violation of the rule. There will be no refund for the remaining nights.
  5. There are only 6 people allowed to stay at our cabin. Any more people than 6 and you will be asked to leave the premises immediately if you do not comply. There will be no refund for the remaining nights.
  6. Please help us conserve energy by turning off lights when not in use. Let’s work together to reduce our environmental impact and keep our planet green.
  7. Help us by putting the garbage into the designated bear proof bins provided on the property.
  8. Stay cool throughout your stay with our efficient air conditioning system. Beat the heat on hot summer days and enjoy a restful night’s sleep in a perfectly climate-controlled environment. Please be respectful I of how much you change the temperature in the cabin.
  9. Please note that quiet hours are from 9:30PM – 8AM. This means you should not disturb the neighbors.
  10. There are escape plans, in case of fire, located on the second floor. Please familiarize yourself with these upon arrival. Watch your step on stairs especially when they are icy or wet.
  11. Please make sure to not leave food out on the deck or in your car. This attracts the bears. Also, do not feed the bears.
  12. Please park in the driveway. Do not block other driveways. There is only one spot available to use.
  13. Please do not move the furniture. It has been placed in the appropriate places and should not be rearranged.
  14. There will be a $150 fee for per hour for early check in.
  15. There is a $150 fee per hour for late check out.
  16. Please be respectful of our property. This is not a hotel and should be treated as if it is your own property. Please clean up after yourself and leave everything as you found.
  17. The Guest that books the property, must stay at the property. A Guest may not rent the property for other people and not stay at the property. If the Guest does not stay at the property, then the people at the property will have to leave within 1 hour and any payments will not be returned due to not following this rule.
  18. No refunds will be provided due to inoperable appliances, pools, hot tubs, elevators, etc. The Owner will make every reasonable effort to assure that such appliances will be and remain in good working order. No refunds will be given due to power blackouts, water shortage, flooding, snow, construction at adjacent properties, or mandatory evacuations of the area by county officials due to hurricanes or other potentially dangerous situations arising from acts of god or nature.
  19. Guest is responsible for all shipping costs for any Lost and Found items that Owner is requested to return to Guest. Items found and not claimed within 30 days will be disposed of at the discretion of Owner.
  20. If the Guest does not check-in (No Show) they forfeit the payment, the same as if they cancelled within 30 days of stay. There are no partial refunds. No Shows are treated as if the Guest had stayed the whole trip.
  21. Do not use candles. There will be an extra cleaning fee for damages.
  22. No fireworks, no guns, no tents, campers, RVs or similar, no grills or fires on the wood deck. Any violation of these will result in an extra cleaning fee, and you will have to leave the property immediately without refund.
  23. No illegal drugs or activities. The police will be called and you will be removed from the property with no refund.
